Close menu Product information "Organic Anti-Freeze for drinking water and toilet systems 5 litres" Yachticon Organic Anti-Freeze - plant-based antifreeze for drinking water & toilet systems 100% organically produced and free from additional toxic components: Yachticon Organic Anti-Freeze combines high technical performance with modern origins. The basis is high-purity monopropylene glycol (MPG) in USP quality, obtained from vegetable glycerine. This makes the product ideal for sensitive systems such as fresh water and toilet tanks, pipes, pumps, valves and seals on boats, in motorhomes, caravans or tiny houses - without compromising on purity and material compatibility. Vegetable origin & USP/EP conformity The propylene glycol used is produced by catalytic hydrogenolysis of distilled glycerine, is > 99.5 % pure and fulfils the requirements of the pharmacopoeias (USP/EP). This raw material quality minimises undesirable by-products and supports a low-odour, colourless and system-friendly performance. Special advantages Although Yachticon Organic Anti-Freeze is supplied as a ready-to-use mixture, it can be further diluted if required. This enables a higher application volume at the same product price. The antifreeze can also be reused the next season, provided it is drained and stored properly. Furthermore, it does not contain any additives for self-preservation - another plus point for users who value maximum naturalness.Also suitable for the external cooling circuit. Clean specification - developed for sensitive applications Typical key data: Water content < 0.2 %, ethylene glycol < 500 ppm, heavy metals ≤ 5 ppm, chloride/sulphate each ≤ 5 ppm, pH of the aqueous extract 5-7, density 1.035-1.040 g/cm³ (20 °C), viscosity 40-45 mm²/s (25 °C), flash point > 100 °C. This narrow specification ensures high material and seal compatibility as well as stable circulation in pumps and fittings. Transport & storage without hurdles The product is not classified as dangerous goods according to RID/ADR. This makes storage, shipping and handling easier - a particular advantage for mobile applications in boats, campers and service operations. Sustainable approach The bio-based origin (vegetable glycerine as the starting material) combines effective frost protection with a contemporary understanding of sustainability. Gebrauchsanweisung: Empty the tank. Pour undiluted YACHTICON ORGANIC ANTI-FREEZE (or diluted according to the frost point) into the tank. Open the taps until the antifreeze comes out.
